Research Directions
Comparative studies of Chinese and English languages and cultures, discourse analysis, International Chinese Language Education
Professor Sun has presided over and participated in more than 10 research projects at the national, provincial/ministerial and university level. She has published one book, two textbooks and more than 30 academic papers. In 2015, she won the third prize of “The Seventh Outstanding Achievement Award for Scientific Research in Colleges and Universities” (Humanities and Social Sciences) of the Ministry of Education. In 2010 and 2012, she won the first prize of the Second and Third Innovative Papers held by the International Society for Chinese Language Teaching. In recent years, as the main member, she has participated in the first prize and second prize of Beijing Teaching Achievements. As the host, she has won the first prize of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications Teaching Achievements and the first "Excellent Teaching Guide Demonstration Team" of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. As the leader, she won the Excellent Organization Award and Outstanding Teacher Team Award of North China "Hanjiao Heroes Association" in 2021 and 2022.
