Zuo Hanqing is an associate professor and academic advisor for the MA program in Japanese Studies at the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT). She is the director of the Japanese Studies Program, Director of the Japan Culture Research Institute at BUPT, an executive council member of International Association of Ninomiyasuntoku Theories, and a council member of the International Association of Toujunakae Theories. Her main research interests include Japanese Language and Literature, Japan Intellectual History, and Japan Geinoh History. She has taken charge of four university level research projects, one university curriculum reform project, and several research projects at the national and provincial level. She has authored two books, translated 10 books, and published more than 10 academic articles in top-tier journals.
