诗人，文学评论人，译者；上海外国语大学英语语言文学学士，北京外国语大学英语语言文学硕士，北京师范大学英语语言文学博士，耶鲁大学高级访问学者，师从哈罗德･布鲁姆；北京市作家协会成员，中国英汉语比较研究会诗歌研究专业委员会理事，中国对外发行的英文刊物The Voice of Dharma的编辑和翻译。专注于诗歌创作、文学批评、文学翻译、哲学翻译；著有原创双语诗集《在郁金香的光泽中》；文学专著有《大漠落日：<英国病人>的电影改编》《悬崖上的舞蹈：边缘电影三十部》《铁背心：田纳西·威廉姆斯的剧作中遭受困惑的男人们》（该书获北京市理论著作基金出版资助）《抒情与现实的颜色：英语电影批评》；教材有《英语文学赏析：小说与读者》（English and American Literature: Fiction and Reader）。在《读书》《书城》《外国文学评论》《外国文学研究》《当代电影》等发表了三十多篇学术论文；译著6部。曾担任著名导演贾樟柯和美国知名电影学者Dudley Andrew的口译。

Xu Jing is a poet and professor of English literature at the School of Humanities, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT), the director of the MTI Program, and the supervisor of both the MA and MTI programs. She is also a committee member of the Beijing Writers' Association, the translator and editor forThe Voice of Dharma, China’s English-language journal, and a council member of the Poetry Research Committee of the China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese. She holds a BA from Shanghai International Studies University, an MA from Beijing Foreign Studies University, and a PhD from Beijing Normal University. Additionally, she was avisitingresearchfellow at Yale University for one year under the guidance ofthe acclaimed professorHarold Bloom. Her academic interests include poetry, literary criticism, and translation. She has published a collection of poems, more than 40 academic papers, four monographs, a textbook on English literature, and six translated works. Xu has also worked as an interpreter forthe famousChinese director Jia Zhangke and Yale Film Studies professor Dudley Andrew.
